แมลงหางหนีบเดินดงเมืองเหนือ Mongolabis chiangmaiensis, แมลงหางหนีบเดินดงเมืองจันท์ M. chantha,แมลงหางหนีบเดินดงสยาม M. siamensis Nishikawa & Jaitrong, 2023 |
In the present paper Mongolabis chiangmaiensis sp. nov. from Chiang Mai Province, M. chantha sp. nov. from Chanthaburi Province and M. siamensis sp. nov. from Nan Provice are described and illustrated. M. panfilovi (Bey-Bienko, 1953) from Chiang Mai Province and M. emarginata Srivastava, 2003 from Chanthaburi Province are newly recorded for Thailand. A key to the species of Mongolabis in Thailand and a preliminary checklist of the world species of the genus Mongolabis Zacher are provided.

แมลงหางหนีบเดินดงสยาม (Mongolabis siamensis Nishikawa & Jaitrong, 2023) พบที่อ.ปัว จ.น่าน
ทั้ง 3 ชนิดเป็นแมลงหางหนีบที่ไม่มีปีก จึงบินไม่ได้ แตกต่างจากกลุ่มอื่น ๆ ที่มีปีกบินสามารถบินได้ ตัวสีน้ำตาลถึงน้ำตาลดำ อวัยวะเพศผู้ค่อนข้างยาวกว่ากว้าง ตัวอย่างต้นแบบ (Type specimens) ของแมลงทั้งสามชนิดถูกเก็บรักษาไว้ ณ คลังตัวอย่างแมลงที่ NSM นอกจากแมลงหางหนีบชนิดใหม่ของโลกแล้วยังค้นพบชนิดที่รายงานครั้งแรกในประเทศไทยอีก 2 ชนิด [M. panfilovi และ M. emarginata] ด้วย
